Anadarko ranked 112th in Oklahoma for the percentage of households receiving food stamps in 2020, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

There were 628 Anadarko households (26.4 percent) who received food stamps. Anadarko’s population was 6,600 in 2020.

The city with the largest percentage of households receiving food stamps in the state was Centrahoma, which had 24 of 31 households receiving food stamps, 51 percent more than Anadarko. In 2020 the population of Centrahoma was 62.

The city with the lowest percentage of households receiving food stamps in the state was Nichols Hills, which had four of 1,548 households receiving food stamps, 26.1 percent less than Anadarko. In 2020 the population of Nichols Hills was 3,910.
