The Cameron men’s tennis team drops their first home contest on Tuesday, a 4-3 loss to Northwest Missouri State at the Streich-Henry Tennis Complex.

The Bearcats took an early 1-0 lead after the doubles, as Tomas Almeida and Thomas Cardona fell 4-6 in the matchup at one, and Kristian Kubik and Emilio Seelbach lost 2-6 at three. Baptiste Mercier and Joao Duleba won a 6-3 matchup at two.

Cardona, Mercier, and Kubik turned the tides in the Aggies’ favor as they swept their singles matches. Cardona won 6-1, 6-4 at two. In the match at three, Mercier won 6-1, 6-2, and Kubik had a 6-1, 7-5 victory at four.

Almeida dropped his match at one 2-6, 4-6, Duleba went the distance in the pairing at five, losing 3-6, 6-4, 4-6, and Alvaro Chavez fell 5-7, 4-6 at six.
