Cameron women’s track and field wrapped up their final contest before heading into the Lone Star Conference Indoor Championships next weekend in Lubbock, Texas.

Denim Boone continues to improve as the season progresses. At the Ichabod Invitational, she would complete the 60-meter dash in 8.01 seconds, placing 10th, breaking the school record she set last week. Amiah Osborne finished in 34th with a time of 9.08 seconds.

Boone had a 14th-place finish in the 200-meters with a time of 26.48 seconds.

Genevieve Young led the Aggies with a time of 2:21.02 in the 800 meters, and Daesha Brathwaite placed 14th, running the race in 2:23.14.

Arian Spears ran the one mile in five minutes and 26.33 seconds to turn in a 17th-place finish, and Brathwaite came in 19th with a time of 5:28.09. Next up for Cameron was Mathilde Winther in 27th place, crossing at the 5:39.48 mark. Delicia Delgadillo finished in 33rd with a time of 5:55.31, Evalynn Pedroza had a time of 5:56.48 in 34th place, and Emma Costantini placed 38th with a time of 6:11.80.

The Aggies 4×400 relay team of Anne de Jong, Young, Marroquin, and Winther finished in fourth place with a time of 4:16.60.
