Northeastern State University Semmerling named D2CCA Central Region Player of the Year

Flynn Semmerling was voted as Division II Conference Commissioner’s Association (D2CCA) Men’s Soccer Central Region Player of the Year to highlight four All-Region selections Tuesday for the RiverHawks.

Semmerling is now a four-time All-Central Region First Team selection and was the GAC/MIAA Offensive Player of the Year in 2022, finishing the season with 32 points (14 goals, 4 points).

Ryan McCully earned his first All-Region nod after having seven goals and three assists in his senior season. 

Both student-athletes will move on to All-American voting.

Martin Martinez was a Second Team selection and is one of three freshmen to make All-Region. Scott Woods earned his second consecutive Second Team selection.
