Earlier this month, Western Technology Center Dental Assisting students assisted the Weatherford Public School nurses, Jane Cole and Kylee Sawatzky with the 7th grade Health Screenings. The students assisted with recording height, weight, blood pressure, pulse, vision, and nearsightedness. The school nurses also checked for scoliosis. One hundred and seventy-five 7th graders were screened and sent home with a goodie bag that had a toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss. They also received information about the Dental Assisting program at WTC- Weatherford.
