The Cameron Aggies fall late to the Eastern New Mexico Greyhounds at the Aggie Gym, 78-70, despite Jaylen Thomas' 17 points.

CU lost their 10th straight game on Thursday to fall to a 2-12 overall record and 0-8 within the Lone Star Conference. The game started promising for the Black-and-Gold, controlling an 11-2 lead at the 14-minute mark in the first half. Jaylen Thomas sparked the Aggies' offense with the first five points on his way to 17 points on four made triples, four rebounds, and two assists in 31 minutes of action.

Thomas was one of four Cameron players with double-figures as Caylen Goff-Brown poured in 15 points, a rebound, and knocked down three triples. DeSean Munson contributed 12 points, and Reggie Prudhomme posted 11 with a team-high five assists, two stalls, and five rebounds.

Andre Washington was huge in the starting lineup for the Black and Gold, with nine points, six rebounds, an assist, a block, and a team-high two steals in 29 minutes.

This game saw seven lead changes five times, but despite controlling the lead for 15 minutes, the Aggies still fell by eight points. The last time Kevin O'Connor's squad had the lead was at the 17:48 mark of the second half.

The Aggies lost the rebounding battle by ten boards, and each team had 15 turnovers a piece. The Aggies shot 39 percent from distance but limited the Greyhounds to just 26 percent from deep.
