WTC-Weatherford Dental Hygiene Clinic hosted their first day of Seal a Smile | Western Technology Center
WTC-Weatherford Dental Hygiene Clinic hosted their first day of Seal a Smile on Wednesday and were able to see 83 Weatherford 2nd and 3rd graders and apply 374 sealants. OU/WTC Dental Hygiene Students and WTC Dental Assisting students were able to do this community outreach through a grant with Delta Dental of Oklahoma Foundation.
The goal of applying sealants is to seal out tooth decay. Participating students had already gone through a free dental screening during WTC's "Give Kids a Smile" outreach earlier in February. WTC is committed to "educating people for success"!
