Western Oklahoma State College Shooting team recently traveled to Las Vegas, NV, to compete in the National Collegiate Shooting Sports Athletic Association National Championship

Western's Shooting team recently traveled to Las Vegas, NV, to compete in the National Collegiate Shooting Sports Athletic Association National Championship!

Not only did the Pioneers finish 4th in the Nation, but they also came back to Oklahoma with many honors and accomplishments both as a team and as individual competitors!

WOSC placed 3rd in Trap as a team. Hunter Pence was All-American Honorable Mention.Blakey Barnett was the Women's Runner-up Champion in Trap(after a 3-way tie for first with a 99/100) Shay Skaggs: 3rd in Women's Sporting Clays. 

In women's skeet:

Blakey Barnett: 5th 

Aubrey Steward: 6th

Shay Skaggs: 7th. 

Men's Skeet:

Hunter Pence: tied for 5th 

Byron Ford: tied for 8th 

Tucker Colby: tied for 10th. 

The team ended 5th.

Women's trap:

Blakely Barnett: 2nd

Shay Skaggs: 6th

Aubrey Steward: 10th

Team: 3rd

Sporting Clays

Women:

Shay Skaggas: 3rd

Blakely Barnett: 7th

Aubrey Steward: 9th

Paris Spraggins: 10th

Team: 7th

Highest overall women's:

Blakey Barnett: 4th

Shay Skaggs: 6th

Aubrey Steward: 8th

Paris Spraggins: 10th

Team 4th
