6.9% of Caddo County residents considered unemployed in 2021

Caddo County recorded an unemployment rate of 6.9% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 745 people out of the 27,253 living in Caddo County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Caddo County has remained fairly stable compared to the 6.9% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Caddo County was greater than the statewide unemployment rate of 5%.

Of the 10,100 people who had a job during that time, 6 were employed in the Armed Forces and 10,094 belonged to the civilian labor force.
