It is Western Wednesday! Meet Jamarian Cato, a freshman from Simsboro, Louisiana. Cato is a member of the men’s basketball team and majoring in Business.

Why Western? “I chose Western because I felt Western was the best fit for me and I felt more comfortable being here. This is a great place to be in and I enjoy it so much!”

Favorite thing about Western: “The food and hanging out at The Point.”

“After Western, I plan to continue my basketball career and academic career at a four-year college.”

Have anyone at Western made a difference in your life? “Coach Ro has made a difference in my life at Western and has helped me in so many ways through the basketball program.”

Advice that I would give potential students would be to “Go To Class!!”
