Western Oklahoma State College welcomes Emily Worrell, Southwest Crop Insurance Agency, LLC, as a new President’s Partner. Emily grew up in Hollis, Oklahoma, and now resides in Altus with her husband Chance, six-year old daughter, Lucy and four-year old son Levi. Emily opened Southwest Crop Insurance Agency, LLC, in 2013 after graduating from OSU with a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Communications.
Emily took concurrent classes at Western Oklahoma State College while she was in high school, which, she says better prepared her for her studies at Oklahoma State University. Emily states she chose to become a President’s Partner because “I love that the funds can be used to help students in need for other things not strictly allocated for. I just wish I had known about the program 10 years ago and I would have started then.”
Western Oklahoma State College is thankful to Emily and all of the President’s Partners for providing financial support above and beyond operational funding provided to the college by the Oklahoma Legislature.
The WOSC Foundation, Inc. President’s Partner Program is designed to enhance educational opportunities and student-learning experiences. Partners make an annual pledge of at least $1,000 in support. These pledges provide necessary funding for a variety of purposes, including scholarships, promotions, programs, student and faculty recruitment, facility improvements and initial funding for endowments and endowment development. The President’s Partners are made up of community members and businesses in Altus and its surrounding area.
The Western Oklahoma State College Foundation provides the opportunity to invest in the future by offering many ways to give.
